Fine Art prints, or Giclée prints as they are known in the industry, are a popular choice for many of our commercial photographers. They give the appearance of an artistic image that is as sharp as, and more vibrant than, a photographic print. Fine Art prints are ideal for enlarged images to be framed – they give your image an added pizzazz behind glass. They are suitable for any type of picture from landscapes and portraits to candid family photos. Sizes range from 6”x4” through to 40”x80”. We also do custom sizes with a maximum print size of 44”x100”.

Giclée Fine Art print quality – what can you expect?
When ordering, you can choose between either a smooth or textured finish. For a smooth finish, choose between high quality 290gsm Smooth Fine Art paper or digital artist’s choice 308gsm Hahnemühle Matt Fine Art paper. Both of these are 100% cotton rag papers with no optical brighteners. For textured Fine Art prints, there is no better choice than 310gsm Hahnemühle German Etching Fine Art paper. It is 100% alpha cellulose paper and ISO 9706 museum quality. All of these high quality papers deliver outstanding colours and true blacks.
We use the latest Epson Sure Color printers with commercial grade Epson UltraChrome Pro UV inks – these are the same archival inks used to print our canvas prints.

Paper Options
Hahnemühle Premium Textured
For a more artistic look, choose our Premium Textured paper: 310gsm Hahnemühle German Etching Fine Art paper. This traditional mould-made copperplate printing paper is a white art paper made from 100% alpha cellulose and is characterised by its extraordinary velvety tactile feel and its fine, clearly defined felt structure. The unique surface texture of Hahnemühle German Etching Fine Art paper adds a very special touch to images, showcasing them in all their splendour with impressive three-dimensional effect and depth.
The premium matt inkjet coating guarantees outstanding print results with deep black and optimum contrasts as well as exceptional reproduction of colour and detail. German Etching is acid- and lignin-free making it ISO 9706 museum quality for highest age resistance.
The characteristic tactile feel and surface texture of this heavyweight Fine Art paper is what makes it our choice for textured photographic prints and art reproductions.
Hahnemühle Premium Smooth
For bespoke artworks and one of a kind images, choose our Premium Smooth paper: 308gsm Hahnemühle Matt Fine Art paper.
This white cotton artist’s paper has a wonderfully soft feel with a lightly defined felt structure resulting in an impressive pictorial depth and lending a three-dimensional appearance to every artwork.
Similar to Hahnemühle’s premium textured fine art paper, the matt premium inkjet coating produces outstanding print results with deep black and optimum contrasts as well as exceptional reproduction of colour and detail. Hahnemühle’s Matt Fine Art paper is also acid- and lignin-free making it ISO 9706 museum quality for highest age resistance.
The premium quality of Hahnemühle’s Matt Fine Art paper is like upgrading from a Mercedes to a Bentley in the Photo Rag paper world. We guarantee you will love the results as much as we do every time we print on this beautiful cotton rag paper.
UV inks
We use Epson’s UltraChrome Pro Inks for both our Fine Art and Canvas printing services as these UV inks have been specifically designed for professional and commercial print production. As such, they provide an extended gamut with superior colour accuracy and archival level image stability. UltraChrome Pro ink is an aqueous (water based) all-pigment construction ink that is based on Epson’s famous K3 and HDR inks.
The Pro formulation features improved Matte and Photo Black inks that provide an enhanced Dmax for brighter Fine Art prints with an enhanced tonal range in both colour and black and white. The Vivid Magenta makes for brighter blues and pinks whilst the Light and Dark Grey inks provide improved balance with neutral greys, reduced bronzing and minimal colourcasts/colour twist. The new Yellow ink ensures further durability enhancement with increased UV light resistance.
